Blokes in Sheds - Jim Hopkins & Julie Riley
Everybody's got a shed story. And everybody wants to tell it. Mention the subject and people wake up, light up and the tales spill out, like kids from a class at the end of term. There's no Gospel According to the Expert, you see, in the matter of sheds. No one's told us what to think. And no one's told us what to say to escape the cool disdain of Those Who Know.
This is rare in an age much inclined to analyse and stigmatise. Yet, somehow, the shed has got off scot-free. At a time when most matters masculine are under the judgmental microscope (and not doing too well) the great refuge of blokedom has just sort of sat there, out the back, pretty much unnoticed. The fact that sheds have escaped the scrutiny of those with fingers to wag and tuts to tut is really quite surprising.
Very good condition, Pages Mint.
